My name is Isabel and I am a Clinical Psychologist.  I have worked in the NHS since 2005, completed my Doctoral training in Clinical Psychology in 2009 and have worked in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services since then.  I have worked with children, young people, adults and parents and professionals in lots of different situations.  I have worked in an Adolescent team, a Looked After and Adopted Children's team, Schools teams, early intervention parenting services and edge of care work with parents in local authority services.

I have a secret love for comic-book heroes and I like to follow my clients (children, teens, adults) interests to make their journey's more colourful in therapy and using imagery and stories to help understand, make sense of things and make a new story of compassion and emotional wellbeing.

I have always been known by my middle name "Isabel" my whole life, but you will find me under my full name Jenifer Isabel K. Battye on the HCPC Register and BPS register of Chartered Clinical Psychologists.
